The reasons I’m conflicted
Lovely staff and clean facilities made for a pleasant stay! Great food variety and enjoyable activities like pools and indoor games kept us entertained throughout our visit.
Room maintenance and decor were notably dated! Slow elevators compounded our frustrations, particularly during busy times of the day.

The Rubin Sunny Hotel was a delightful surprise with a lovely pool area shaded by pine trees, where every afternoon was spent sunbathing. The food was tasty, featuring a varied buffet for breakfast and lunch, which allowed us to sample different flavors every day.
Room decor outdated.

my stay here was hardly up to expectations. the pool bar didn’t even open until 12pm, which is absurd, and the food was just average. i definitely expected some special treatment, considering my stature, but nothing! guess i’m just like everyone else, huh? so disappointing.

The location is pretty sweet with a scenic coastal walking path nearby and easy access to the beach for some solid swimming. At the pool bar, I found a decent selection of drinks, which helped to cool off on the hot days.
But here's the kicker, my room was well overdue for a makeover—worn furniture and some nasty mold were just not cutting it. Wi-Fi? Only in common areas, which is a pain when you're trying to connect in your own space. The meals? They got old fast. I was hoping for more local flavor, but it seemed pretty repetitive. To top it off, those elevators? Slow and a hassle when you’re wrestling with luggage or a toddler in tow.
